Telling Their Story
USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications asked us to address twin entrance lobbies. Faculty members wanted to tell the story of their program , but didn't know how to get there on their own. To achieve the mission we commissioned two artists: one focusing on the tools of capturing news, the other on the methods communications have been relayed through the decades.
Logical, Timeless and Flexible
US ARCENT, Patton's Third army, faced the task of working through their inventory of portraits, photos, awards, and gifts prior to moving from Atlanta GA to Sumter SC. The architectural firm reached out to Douglas Art Consulting to work directly with the army to listen to their story, review all items and present a logical, flexible and timeless plan. Douglas Art Consulting orchestrated the plan from concept to final secured installation.
